With 15 years experience as a
woman-owned business, we have the following recommendations
for you to consider when planning your event needs:
- Remember to consider the
needs of those with disabilities and include at least ONE
handicapped unit (Americans with Disabilities Act [ADA]
Compliant0 with each group of units. It is
advisable that you make at least 10% of your total number
of units are in fact disabilities accessible
units. For events with a larger number of
wheelchair bound individuals, increase the percentage
accordingly.
- With the needs of female
patrons in mind, if the percentage of women attending your
event exceeds 50%, you should consider increasing the
number of units by a factor of between 25% and 50%.
- Lastly, if you will be
serving alcoholic beverages at your event, increase the
number of units you'll be needing by at least 20%.
For Construction Sites,
you will need 1 unit for every 10 workers as required by the
American National Standard Institute (ANSI Z4.3).
For Special Events, please
use the following chart that assumes the maximum acceptable
waiting line of 10 people.
